STEM Balloons

Welcome to the GeekyEdtech Space Balloon Site

In 2015 I started launching balloons for the Indiana Migrant Education Program developed STEM Curriculum.

One part of our curriculum included Near Space balloon launches. We launched 5 balloons to around 110,000 ft above sea level over the course of the summer.

Our students had the opportunity to not only help launch the balloon but build a project to go to space. We were fortunate to be able to retrieve all balloons and student projects.

This site has been developed to help provide accesses to balloon fight data, pictures, and videos.
